Loop it. Slow it. Get the move.
Mark a start. Mark an end. Pick a speed. Pip Cue replays the same eight-count, the same riff, the same phrase — until your body or your hands have it. Pitch stays intact.
A-B loop with adjustable speed
Open Cinematic PiP (⌥⇧M), press [ at the start of the section, press ] at the end. The video repeats that segment at the speed you pick — 0.25x for the hardest parts, 1x to test, anywhere in between.
- [ sets A, ] sets B
- Speed picker: 0.25x to 2x — pitch stays the same
- Skip ±10s with ← →
- Always on top — keep practicing without losing focus
Built around how you actually practice
Four ways to use the same loop.
Learning choreography 8-count by 8-count
Mark A on the first beat, B at the last. Drop to 0.5x. Loop the section, mirror the moves, speed up to 0.75x, then 1x. When the count clicks in your body, move to the next one.
Drilling a guitar solo or riff
Loop the four bars you keep missing at 0.5x. Build the muscle memory at half-speed, then ramp 0.75x → 1x. Skip ±10s with arrow keys to rewind cleanly between takes.
Working a vocal phrase or piano run
Set A right before the phrase, B right after. Speed stays slow until you can sing or play along clean. Then back to full speed to test it in context.
Studying a drum fill or footwork
Tight A-B loops at 0.25x let you see every limb. The full Cinematic PiP keeps the video on top while you mirror the move at your kit or your floor.

One thing Pip Cue does not do
Pip Cue changes speed, not pitch. A song stays in its original key whether you play it at 0.5x or 1.5x. If you need to transpose a song into a different key for vocal range or to match an instrument's tuning, you'll want a dedicated pitch-shifting tool alongside Pip Cue — they pair fine in the same browser.
