Why is it free?

Pip Cue is a one-person project built to be the picture-in-picture tool the maker wished existed. Charging for the v1 feature set didn't feel right — the extension is small, it runs on your machine, and most of what it does (PiP, transcripts, A-B loop) was always going to be free. Pro will exist for power features that need cross-device infrastructure. Until then, the free tier is the whole product.
